The Three C's
Republican Melissa Haluszczak faces a historical 100-year Democrat stranglehold on Greater Pittsburgh in her November race against incumbent U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle (D-14).
However, Melissa has a commonsense plan for representing the 14th Congressional District. She will review each piece of legislation for the "three Cs": Constitution, conscience and constituents.
In her words, "party" does not begin with a "C" and therefore is not an option when voting. Melissa is running as a concerned citizen who loves her state, country and fellow countrymen.
Doyle is partially responsible for the Stupak sellout in the health-care bill, putting the lives of innocent children above his morals and claims of being pro-life. He has voted with his Democratic Party on this administration's many spending ventures: the $785 billion stimulus, health care and the financial overhaul, to name a few.
A vote for Melissa this fall is a vote for the type of change the Obama administration has failed to bring: honest work, adherence to our Constitution and an open ear to the will of the people.
