Immigration

Immigration is about securing our borders and upholding the rule of law. America is a country built on a common respect for the rule of law, and we must make sure we do not allow politicians in Washington to undermine this fundamental value.

It is imperative that our borders be secured, as it is crucial to our nation’s security that we know who is entering our country.

People who are in this country illegally have broken the law and therefore under no circumstances deserve amnesty or a path to citizenship.  Enforcement of the current labor laws through E-verify will ensure that illegal residency is economically unattractive and will hasten their return to their country of origin.

Legal immigrants should be given a chance to live the American dream.  America was built by immigrants who were willing to put in the hard work necessary to be successful Americans.  Integration into the American dream includes the recognition of English as America’s official language.
